SKINDERMA DMAE is a professional microneedling mesotherapy solution with a powerful lifting and firming effect on face and body. It tones sagging skin, stimulates collagen and elastin formation, and protects against free radical damage — making it ideal for anti-aging and skin renewal protocols.

Key Benefits

  • Visibly lifts and firms sagging skin on face and neck
  • Tones and renews skin texture for a smoother appearance
  • Deeply moisturizes and protects against free radical damage
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin formation
  • Helps prevent premature skin aging and sagging
  • Supports hair loss and scar treatment protocols

Active Ingredients

  • Dimethylaminoethanol Tartrate (DMAE) — a naturally occurring compound present in small amounts in the brain and in marine sources such as anchovies and sardines. DMAE is a precursor to choline, which is required for the synthesis of acetylcholine — the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction and tone. In mesotherapy protocols, DMAE increases acetylcholine availability in the dermis, enhancing the tone of the underlying facial musculature and producing a visible lifting and firming effect on lax, sagging skin. Additionally, DMAE stabilizes cell membranes by incorporating into phospholipid bilayers, reducing membrane fluidity, protecting against oxidative damage from free radicals, and improving the structural integrity of skin cells. This dual mechanism — neuromuscular toning and membrane stabilization — makes DMAE one of the most effective non-surgical lifting actives available in professional aesthetic medicine. It also has applications in hair loss protocols (supporting scalp microcirculation) and scar remodeling treatments.

Treatment Area: Face & Neck
Recommended For: Wrinkles, anti-aging, dry skin, smoker’s skin, hair loss, and scars
Presentation: 20 x 5ml ampoules

What is DMAE and how does it lift and firm skin? DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) is a naturally occurring choline precursor that increases acetylcholine synthesis in the dermis. Acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction and tone — by boosting its availability in the dermal tissue, DMAE enhances the tone of facial muscles and connective tissue, producing a visible lifting and firming effect on sagging skin. It also stabilizes cell membrane phospholipids, reducing oxidative damage and improving skin cell integrity for a more resilient, youthful complexion.

How is DMAE mesotherapy different from surgical lifting? DMAE mesotherapy achieves its lifting effect through biochemical stimulation — increasing acetylcholine-mediated muscle tone and stabilizing skin cell membranes — rather than mechanical tissue repositioning. It is a non-invasive, progressive treatment that improves skin firmness, texture, and elasticity over a course of sessions, making it an effective non-surgical alternative for patients with early to moderate skin laxity who wish to avoid surgical intervention.

What skin concerns does DMAE address? DMAE is recommended for sagging and lax skin, loss of facial definition, wrinkles and expression lines, smoker’s skin (with impaired microcirculation and collagen degradation), dry and dull skin, hair thinning, and post-procedural scar remodeling. Its versatility across facial rejuvenation, scalp, and body protocols makes it one of the most multi-functional actives in the mesotherapy practitioner’s toolkit.

Who is this product for? SKINDERMA DMAE is formulated for licensed aesthetic practitioners, dermatologists, and skin clinics performing microneedling and mesotherapy protocols for lifting, firming, and anti-aging. It is intended for professional clinic use only.
